More Injuries

Georgia got another scare when sophomore tight end Bruce Figgins went down clutching his right knee in an early passing. But Figgins was able to return to practice a short time later and finish the workout.

“He’s probably going to be sore,” Richt said.

Freshman defensive end Jeremy Longo also has a broken right hand, but Longo wasn’t interested in sharing the details of exactly how he was injured.

“I’m not supposed to talk about it,” he said. When pressed Longo assured it was a football-related injury.

Quarterback Joe Cox (sore elbow) will not resume throwing until Monday.
