Freshman A.J. Green participated in Wednesday’s practice and looked full-speed after missing the first two days with a hip flexor.

“He looks good out there,” Richt said. “The more he runs and the healthier he gets, we’ll get a chance to see what he can do. There’s no reason to believe he’s anything less than what we expect.”

Out of all the receivers, junior Michael Moore seemed to struggle the most with the drill. He dropped at least five direct passes throughout the first couple of sessions, smacking the ball in frustration. In all fairness, the first pass he dropped was a laser from Stafford.

“It was just an off day. Sometimes you have great days and sometimes you have bad days, and today was just more of a mental day I had to get through,” Moore said. “When it comes to competition, when it’s one on one, that’s what I take my pride in, and I’ll never drop a pass doing that.”

He redeemed himself later during a two-hand-touch scrimmage when he caught a pass off a rollout from Stafford and ran the length of the field for a touchdown.
